Something for today!!!

The GOLDEN WEEK spring holiday.

May is just around the corner. The spring holiday, know as GOLDEN WEEK, will begin soon. The school will be closed from Wednesday April 29th to Wednesday May 6th inclusively. I am sure that you will all have an interesting and fun time. What will you do and where will you go?   A friend of mine, a fellow Canadian, who I met here in Tokyo over 20 years ago will make a business trip to Tokyo. I have seen him twice in the last 20 years so I am looking forward to it. He now lives in Dubai with his family. What a great start to the spring […]

SPRING CLEANING is an important […]

It was snowing heavily. As a Canadian I am used to snow. But as an expat living in Tokyo I am not. Luckily the snow neither lasted, nor did it accumulate on the ground.   How did […]

Memories and the word of the day.

Hi everyone. I hope that you are all enjoying the cherry blossoms. Thay are BEAUTIFUL!! I am sorry that I did not attach a photo of the cherry trees with my blog this time. Instead, I attached a photo of me when I was a child. As you can see, I was a cool kid who used to play the guitar. I wish I had continued to play because I would love to be able to entertain my friends at parties and gatherings. Well, I did not. Maybe I should try again… Well, this picture was taken on a family holiday to the east coast of Canada.   Who […]

Hi everyone!! Welcome to the LEAD ENGLISH LeadIng blog. I hope that you enjoy it and can learn from it too. The point for today is an idiom. Please choose from the possible answers 1, 2, and 3 below.   It is difficult for me to keep track of  my keys every day! TO KEEP TRACK OF means: 1. to remember who did something 2. to remember where I went 3. to remember where something is   Please think about it and wait for the answer next week.   Have a great week and enjoy the cherry blossoms.
